The Test:
Adding a 3-pack bundle option directly to the product detail page (PDP).
The Goal:
To increase average order value (AOV) and revenue per session by encouraging customers to purchase more units in a single order.
The Why:
We noticed that while the PDPs included strong product information, they didn’t make it easy for customers to add multiple items in a way that felt rewarding. By testing a bundle option, we hypothesized that customers would be more likely to buy in bulk when given a simple, value-driven incentive.
The What:
- Introduced a 3-pack bundle module with a clear “Save 20%” callout.
- Positioned it directly above the “Add to Cart” section for visibility.
- Designed it to look simple, trustworthy, and seamlessly integrated with the PDP layout.
The Results:
$52,820 per month
$633,840 per year (forecasted)
