Simplicity Wins.

Last Week, I took a rare couple of hours off to support and watch my mentor speak at a local entrepreneurship event.

Even though I've heard these lessons individually hundreds of times over the past 5-6 years we've been close, hearing them again, delivered to a room full of strangers really hit home.

For context, Martin has sold multiple companies across different industries for multi-multi-millions over the past 40 years.

His success is huge, probably far beyond what I'll ever achieve (but hopefully, with his guidance, not!).

And yet, despite all his achievements, his principles boil down to simplicity.

These lessons, the same ones he’s drilled into me over the years, are the ones I unknowingly live by.

And today, hearing him reaffirm them so clearly reminded me just how much they’ve shaped my own journey.

I’m incredibly grateful for his mentorship, and if I keep applying these lessons, I hope one day I can come close to the level of success he’s achieved.
