5 Strategies to Optimize Your Shopify Product Page for Maximum Conversions

Some quick wins and trends you can test on your brands today.

  1. Replace your checkout logo with a safe checkout image.

Replace your Checkout Logo with a safe checkout image including the logos of the payment types you accept to further showcase trust whilst the buyer checks out.

Perceived value is everything, if you sell products that have accessories then be sure to show what's included.

Visual representation of this goes far further than text.

Put it in people’s faces!

Reformat your collection page to increase conversions

There are a lot of things that you can test on your collection page.

To better understand how you should reformat your collection pages, I will explain based on an example that we did for one of our clients.

Our client sells refillable hair & body care products, designed with high performance & sustainability in mind.

Let's break down the before/after now

We:

1. Added the limited time sale to the toolbar: We used the toolbar to communicate effective messaging through a limited time offer.

2. Added a trust policy notice bar: This allowed us to show consumers the quality of the products and establish credibility to remove any friction on purchase.

3. Added much needed social proof. Great ratings like 4.9/5 from happy customers must be leveraged to its max potential.

4. Added a clear value proposition/headline: One of the first things people want to see is a headline, we’ve made sure it showcases our value propositions.

5. Added clear product filters: This allows customers to easily select and browse for the exact product type they’re looking for.

6. Reordered above the fold: We’ve added proper product cards above the fold and displayed them 2x2 to make sure people can actually clearly shop the products from the collection page.

Brand: Mad Rabbit

Mad Rabbit sells natural and organic Tattoo care products. Having been founded in 2019, they sell millions each year. Do they have scope to do better, yes! Here’s what they could do to make more revenue per visit.

Cart Page Optimization
I've:
1. Added a visual shipping prompt to encourage customers to buy more to get free shipping.
2. Added product recommendations in a horizontal slider to free up more space.
3. Used the freed-up space to showcase customer reviews to build trust.
