Optimizing Conversion Rates For A Clothing Ecommerce Brand

Company Updates

Last week I was invited to talk in-front of 100+ 8-9 figure Ecom brands in London.

My topic - Destination, Conversion: How to turn clicks into customers.

In my 30 minute talk I showcased all the important fundamentals of CRO and shared over $2,134,932 in winning tests.

Hosted by Ecommerce Forum, it was a day jam packed with meeting and networking and we’ve already lined up several amazing partnerships to look out for.

CRO Trends

Some quick wins and trends you can test on your brands today.

  1. Use easy filtering on your collection pages.

If you have several styles of products use text + icons or illustrations to

visually guide consumers to what they want to find.

Make your collection pages as easy as possible to navigate.

  1. Add an "Estimated Delivery" date below your call to actions.

These labels will guide those initial visitors who may not know where to go or those unsure of what to choose.

Anything you can do to make a visitor make a quicker and more informed purchase, do it!

Below-the-fold Case Study

Adding a prominent review underneath the fold/call to action section.

The Goal:

To increase revenue per session on our client's store.

The Why:

Our analysis identified the reviews section as an area with potential to amplify trust among customers. Given this, we hypothesized that by redesigning and emphasizing this section, we could leverage reviews more effectively to drive conversions.

The What:

To ensure relevance, we strategically positioned high-quality reviews, particularly those addressing common friction points as identified in post-purchase surveys, directly beneath the call to action on mobile's second fold.

Further enhancing the visibility, we encapsulated each review within a colored container for a more pronounced visual impact.

The overarching goal of these changes was to bolster trust and alleviate potential purchasing hesitations by leveraging authentic customer experiences. By doing so, we aimed to see a measurable uptick in sales, quantified by the revenue per session metric.

The Results:

+$63,735 per month
+ $764,820 per year (forecasted)
+ $0.43 revenue per session
