On-Going CRO ⚡️

A/B Test: One simple in-cart test just added 💲57,417 in monthly revenue.

Here's the breakdown:

Our client's AOV was stuck between $60-$80.

Not bad, but we knew we could do better.

So we came up with a plan:

→ Introduce tiered spending thresholds in the cart

→ Offer free gifts as rewards for hitting these thresholds (Link)

6 Proven Strategies to Create High-Converting Sales Pages

High Converting Design Inspiration

I recently analyzed Honest's homepage...

And spotted some major opportunities for improvement.

Here's what I'd suggest:

1. Visual Category Links

- Replace text-only links with circular visuals.

- Visuals in menus consistently increase click-through rates.

2. Enhanced Social Proof

- Add a star rating and "happy customers" count.

- The current design lacks clear social proof, which is crucial for building trust.

3. Emotive, Benefit-Driven Headline

- Change the headline to "Experience the Honest difference" with a benefit-driven subtitle.

- Focus on customer benefits, not brand features.

4. Optimized Call-to-Action (CTA)

- Replace the small, vague "Get Started" button with a large, specific "Shop Bestsellers" button.

- Clear, action-oriented CTAs drive more clicks.

5. Trust Icons and Text

- Add icons and text addressing common objections. Addressing concerns upfront can significantly increase conversions.

CRO Insight

What people think CRO is vs. What CRO actually is

I see this misconception all the time...

Don't get me wrong.

Fancy landing pages and button colors have their place.

But they're just the tip of the iceberg.

Real CRO goes much deeper.

Here's what CRO actually involves:

1️⃣ Data-Driven Decision Making

↳ We don't guess, we analyze.

↳ Every change is backed by solid data.

2️⃣ User Behavior Analysis

↳ Understanding how users interact with your site is crucial.

↳ Heat maps, session recordings, user testing - we use it all.

3️⃣ Conversion Funnel Optimization

↳ We look at the entire user journey, not just single pages.

↳ Identifying and fixing leaks in your funnel is where the magic happens.

4️⃣ Hypothesis Testing

↳ We form theories based on data and user behavior.

↳ Then we test them rigorously.

5️⃣ Continuous Iteration and Improvement

↳ CRO isn't a one-time thing. It's an ongoing process.

↳ We're always testing, learning, and improving.

True CRO is about understanding your users and continuously improving their experience.

It's not always flashy, but it's incredibly powerful.

7 Easy Ways to Increase Your Conversion Rates This BFCM With Examples

Shopify stores generated $9.3 billion in sales last Black Friday.

(read this again)

Your slice of that pie?

Depends on your conversion rate.

Here are 7 easy ways to increase your conversion rates this BFCM with examples.

This information could be worth millions to you.

1. Show a modal on page load

One of the biggest killers to your conversions will be the lack of clear instructions about your sale.

If people have to ask "how do I get the discount?", you've already lost them.

Whether you auto apply discounts or use coupons, inform them!

2. Utilise your toolbar

Your toolbar should do 3 things:

1) Shout about your sale 🛍

30% OFF SITEWIDE | BLACK FRIDAY SALE NOW ON

2) Increase scarcity

[LIMITED STOCK]

3) Inform of free shipping

Free Delivery over $50 🚚

Make the colour stand out against your brand colours.

3. Add Free Shipping flash

Add a free shipping flash to any products that automatically qualify for free shipping.

This will not only help increasing your AOV but will also make the buyers impulse decision a much easier one to make.

Try and keep the colours consistent.

4. Reiterate the instructions by your buttons

Wherever on your page you have a call to action, be sure to reiterate the clear instructions on how buyers use your discounts.

Again, whether you auto apply discounts or use coupons, inform them!

Treat them like 6 year olds!

5. Show 3 important pricing elements

Be sure to show the 3 important pricing conversion principles:

1. The new price (make same colour as the toolbar for continuity)

2. The old price (with ̶s̶t̶r̶i̶k̶e̶t̶h̶r̶o̶u̶g̶h̶)

3. The monetary saving (in label form)

6. Call to action text

If you can, dynamically embed the saving on your call to action buttons/text.

For example, instead of using: "Add to cart".

Use: "Save 30% Now 👉"

Once more we're reaffirming the sale and discount.

7. Use stock alert icons/text

Use any type of stock alert icons or text to increase urgency.

You've already told people in your toolbar that stock is limited due to the sale, now show them that you only have limited stock on the product page.
